Ok, so, it was just ok.
Fist movie I ahve gone to since Julie and Julia, which was my wifes pick.
Being alone today I decided wtf and went and saw this.

That said, I give this 3 out of 5 stars.

Nice special effects.
Some good actors.

Thin plotline

and in the end, predictable.

I hardly ever get to the movie theater anymore. The last thing I saw in the theater was District 9. I'll probably give Legion a rent based on your review when it comes out on DVD, Maj.

Glad I read your review, Maj. I rarely get to the theater, so I am glad I didn't go for this one. That aside, anyone who has NOT seen Avatar... it is a must see. I am going to go a second time and my wife has decided to go, which is a feat for her. My mother in law even saw it and gave it super high marks, which is why my wife wants to go. Personally, I think it ranks right up there with the Lord of the Rings and some other all time favorites of mine. I will buy this on Blu-Ray and likely pay full price to watch it again.

Avatar was amazing; I paid full price and would love to see it again.
Legion was also pretty good. I wouldn't pay full price; I'm too cheap. But it's one definitely worth the rental fees. It gives a lot of foretelling, so it becomes predictable, but I enjoyed it.

Mack,
While this thread is about Legion and not Avatar, i do want to see it after all the rave reviews I have seen for it. Personally it had no appeal to me from the commercials and the buzz I was hearing before it was released, but it really seems to be getting nothing but great reviews.

On another note, One of the best things in my opinion that was in Legion was ,and I'm not really giving anything away here, the horn of Gabriel, which would have fit PERFECTLY as the eye of Sauron in LOTR,something that Peter Jackson did not capture well at all to my jaded vision of Tolkiens books.

Pixie,
Im confused.Did you or didn't you see Legion? Since it was just released yesterday I'm not sure how you would have seen it and not paid full price.

I did see it, but 1: a friend bought my ticket, 2: we saw it before 6 so it was cheaper. Great movie though!
